Akhilesh Yadav's Facebook account restored; IT minister says no role in 'suspension'

LUCKNOW, Oct 11: Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav’s official Facebook account, which was allegedly suspended earlier, has been restored, party sources said on Saturday. Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said the government had “no role” in blocking the account. “There was an abusive post from his account, and Facebook blocked it as per its policies,” he said.
