Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party vowed to lift Bihar's liquor ban if elected, claiming it would save Rs 28,000 crore in revenue. This saved revenue, they stated, would be used to secure loans of Rs 5-6 lakh crore from the World Bank and IMF, leveraging the financial expertise of new party member Kumar Saurav.
