Palliative care: SC give Centre three weeks to inform about implementation of 2017 guidelines

The Supreme Court on Monday gave the Centre three weeks to report on the implementation of its 2017 National Programme for Palliative Care guidelines. The bench, headed by Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta, was hearing a petition seeking mandatory palliative care for terminally ill patients under the national health programme.
