Qatar to open world’s largest MF Husain museum, based on artist’s own sketch

Qatar will open the world’s largest museum dedicated to M. F. Husain on November 28, 2025, in Doha. Spanning 3,000 sq. meters, the Lawh Wa Qalam: M. F. Husain Museum is inspired by a sketch the artist drew in 2008. It will feature his paintings, films, and installations, including his final masterpiece Seeroo fi al ardh.
