UK PM in India: Trade, universities and films… What Modi and Starmer discussed in Mumbai

On Day 2 of his India visit, British PM Keir Starmer held lengthy talks with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, in Mumbai. The two world leaders, in a press briefing later, reaffirmed their commitment to the India-UK partnership. The duo also announced a series of landmark collaborations. First, nine UK universities will open campuses in India. Also, Indian Air Force flying instructors will serve as trainers with the UK’s Royal Air Force, and Bollywood will make three movies in Britain starting 2026
